The Starlite was a favorite make out place for MPHS Alumni in the mid 60's. It was in Oak Lawn near 95th Street and Ridgeland Avenue.
It had a two-story-tall screen, and claimed to be “America’s most famous drive-in." The theater had portable electrical heaters that allowed it to operate in the winter.
