Home > About Us About Us Welcome! I’m so glad you found your way to my store and hope you’ll enjoy your stay. My name is Barb Wilcox and I’m pictured between my son Steve and daughter Tina. Steve, the comedian, extreme sports enthusiast and golfer, graduated in business from UW-Whitewater. He has a full-time job, wonderful friends and excels at enjoying life. Tina, the artist, works in a Tattoo Shop where she takes great pleasure in creating custom designs for her clients and assisting in the management of the store. I grew up in Chicago, graduated from Morgan Park High School, went on to WIU and since then have lived in GA, CA, MA & WI. I have been here in Baraboo since 1986 and really enjoy its small town family like atmosphere. In the beginning I enjoyed making earrings for myself and a few close friends, and some time later began to wonder if others like us, living in small towns with limited shopping, might enjoy these earrings too. Thoughts of building up an earring inventory and learning how to build a web site rapidly became an obsession. Yes, for the possible additional income, but also to see if I could do it. I love a good challenge just as much as I love earrings. While continuing my 9-5 accounting job, I began, and continue to devote, as much as 50 hours a week to Earrings Galore.
