The Reunion Program and Memory Book

Hello, fellow Mustangs and friends of EMPEHI. The green and white balloons have settled, the bands played their final notes and the last picture has been snapped. It's time to talk about memories of Morgan Park and the now-historic 2014 multi-class reunion and fund raiser.

And you thought the fun was behind you.

For the last few months, we have been compiling the pictures and stories you sent us to put into a commemorative reunion book. Since so many responded after the initial cut-off date, we decided to wait and create a more comprehensive memory book of events. We will have pictures from the Beverly Arts Center, MPHS and the Bourbon Street canteen dance, as well as other information, acknowledgments and recollections.

The resulting reunion program and memory book will be available electronically as a PDF document for viewing and/or downloading. If the final file isn't too large, we should be able to email it to anyone who prefers that method. In any event, the book will be available, most likely from the EMPEHI reunion website, to all classmates and friends.

We also hope, if there are enough entries, to offer a bound edition through Amazon's CreateSpace print-on-demand feature. Anyone wishing to purchase a physical copy will be able to do so, the proceeds from which will go to Morgan Park High School. One of our goals has been to create an on-going benefit for the school and this is one of the ways we hope to accomplish that. Details will follow once the book is ready for prime time.

Here's where you come in:

If you do not want your name, class picture and/or personal information included in the memory book, please respond to this message and so indicate. Your privacy is important to us and we will never share details among classmates and other alumni without your consent.
For those of you who have submitted your stories and/or pictures, your work is done. You may change or update pictures, information and/or stories by responding to this message.

Anyone wishing to participate for the first time, please feel free to respond to this message and include whatever you would like your classmates and fellow Mustangs to know about you. We have room for one or two pictures for each entry and would love to see you in our pages.

The cut-off date for submissions and other requests is November 11.

That's everything for now. We look forward to hearing from you.
