Check a recent Beverly Review or March Villager (BAPA). There is an article about the old Jansen’s Red Hots at 9900 S. Western. Been closed for a while.
The people who bought it two years ago have bailed and a Chinese guy, living in Griffith, IN bought it and plans to open in April or so. He plans to hand out beads and hats for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade....He’s also looking for old photos of the it back in the 1960’s and wants to preserve the history of the place.

Janson's Drive In was founded in 1960 by the Janson's family and has been proudly serving the community for over 50 years.
It's currently under construction with new owners. We are trying very hard to bring back the original Janson's glory, sweet memories and carry on the legacy.
The grand re-opening will be Summer 2014.
