You have probably taken many photos over the course of your life. You may have many of them as slides or prints.

And of course almost everyone has now converted to digital photography. Once you have done this it makes sense to start posting your photos on line. It is free and makes it easy to share with your friends.  And it provides you a backup should you have a disaster.

There are numerous free ways to post your photos on line. We use several of them to post MPHS Photos on line.

A nice program is Picasa.

Download this program to your hard drive.  It will search your entire hard drive and post your photos on line in the same organization that you have on your hard drive. They all start off being private - only you can view them unless you make them public.

One of the interesting things about Picasa is that it is being integrated into gmail and google. You can get to the photos by logging into your gmail account and clicking on the nine little boxes on the top line of the menu. Go to the second set of boxes to photos and you will see all the photos that you posted.

I am working with Tom Schildhouse MPHS Jan 66.  We will report how hard or easy it was to upload photos.
