Here’s an update from the current 19th Ward Newspaper regarding the opening of a new Barraco’s Restaurant on 111th Street (where Corrigan’s was) and the re-opening of the popular Janson’s Drive-In.

  Pat Manning Now if someone would only reopen a Red's and a Jumbo Dog. Barbara Byrne Dittburner and I worked at Jumbo Dog in about 69-70. I still miss the cheese dogs!!

  Brent Murray I drove by Janson’s the other day and the large neon sign was all lit up in broad daylight. However, they are not open yet.
