Saying Goodbye to our Sister City of Vladimir, Russia. Vladimir was the capital of old Russia in the year 1,000 and is a Sister City with Sarasota, Florida. The Mayor and his staff treated us very well and we stayed in their homes during the visit.
We had a great time in Vladimir. The Mayor and his staff
and the Police Chief took great care of us and showed us
the town and region. Vladimir and the region are
beautiful and the people are very nice. Our thanks to
them and an open invitation to visit us in Sarasota.
The photo is at the Vladimir train station.
