Check out this remarkable ad. 

This is the new "wear your seatbelt" ad the UK is doing - started by some fella not hired to do it, but because the cause is important to him, he came up with this idea, and now it's being hailed across the world as a "beautiful commercial.

And now the video has become so popular with the general public that people are forwarding it to friends/family on their own so quickly that it has spread all over the world in a very short time.

A Pre-School Test For You

I already knew I was dumber than the fifth graders, now it's the preschoolers turn!!??    A PRE-SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU    Which way is the bus below traveling?  To the left or to the right?  Can't make up your mind?  Look carefully at the picture again.  Still don't know? Pre-schoolers all over the United States Were shown this picture asked the same question.  90% of the pre-schooler's gave this answer.  'The bus is traveling to the left.' When asked, 'Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?' They answered: 'Because you can't see the door to get on the bus.'  How  do  you  feel  now  ??? I know, me too.

I Miss Chicago

I was in Ft. Myers, Florida the other day and I saw a bumper sticker on a parked car that read, "I miss Chicago."

So, I broke the window, stole the radio, shot out two of the tires and left a note that read, "I hope this helps!"

Hey, you guys in the Midwest -- how cold IS it?

Firefighters remained on the scene of a warehouse fire on Chicago’s South Side Wednesday morning.

The fire was mostly out, but crews were searching for hot spots.

At its peak, 170 firefighters were needed to get the flames under control.  That was one-third of the Chicago Fire Department’s on-duty personnel, making it the department’s biggest response in 7 years.

The fire broke out in a vacant building at 3757 S. Ashland Ave. in Bridgeport, just after 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

It was called in by a Fire Department Chief who happened to be driving by.

“I was looking out my window and I noticed the fire, and it was pretty hot, intense,” said Bridgeport resident Mike Lopez. “Then this morning, my son wanted to come and look at it, and it looks like an ice castle.”

One firefighter suffered a back injury, but no one else was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Coral Theater

The Coral Theatre opened in 1942 for the Lucas Theaters Corporation on 95th Street at Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn. In 1963, the theater was totally remodeled both inside and out.

The Coral Theatre closed in 1984, and was razed that same year, for the construction of the Coral Plaza shopping center.

Garfield Goose MPHS 65

I am led to believe that Garfield Goose was a Morgan Park High Alum. Although some people believe that is an urban legend.

I believe he was a member of the class of 65.  An Fraiser Thomas was from the class of 67.  They were for the birds.
