I was terribly re-miss for not reporting about what a great time we all had at the December 9th Beggar's Pizza Night. We had a total of 10 people there. Let's see,....besides myself, there was Bob and Carol Raines, Joan Pettavino and Dave Ayers, Chuck Thompson, Marlene Walko, John Zielinski, Tom and Karen Schildhouse.
Usually in the past, we have wound up the festivities at about 9:00PM, but, we decided to really let the badger out that night and stayed a whopping 1 & 1/2 hours longer until 10:30 or it might have even been until 10:45PM. Who-Ahh!!
We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed each other's company. That's what we do at the Beggar's Pizza Nights......Laugh, tell stories, laugh some more and then tell some more stories.... just the way that Dave Noren had intended when he started us out with these little mini-reunions about 10 years ago this May.
And, in keeping with that tradition, the next Beggar's Pizza outing is set for Friday night, February 3rd at 7:00PM at the Beggar's in beautiful downtown Merrionette Park, Illinois; the 115th and Kedzie location. Hope to see a bunch
of you there.
If you could, please let me know, via e-mail, if you are planning to attend, then I can reserve the appropriate sized table(s) for our use. Thank you and happy Beggar's Pizza-ing.
