Update*** Our dear mother Linda Larson Scalia passed away today around 2 PM. She was surrounded by her family.
Her team of doctors and nurses tried every possible measure to save hempeer life throughout this entire process. They have been caring and supportive.
Although we were not prepared to say goodbye, our mother, Linda died peacefully after giving a very good fight. We know she was greeted by the Lord and she is with our dad and many other loved ones.
We appreciate all of the phone calls, texts, emails and visits. Offering to help and be available at any time being so much to all of us.
Your support is what reminded us that we are not alone going through something so difficult. We are forever grateful.
It will take a couple days to process everything, but we will post arrangements once they are made.

I am saddened to report that our classmate Linda Larson Scalia passed away suddenly on January 18th after a brief hospitalization. Linda loved music and was a huge fan of the late, great WLS disc jockey Dick Biondi. She also loved the Beatles. Her family will announce funeral arrangements as soon as they are available. RIP Linda Lou. I'm sorry you never made it to a Florida mini-reunion.

The Larson’s lived on the next block from where I grew up on 107th St. They were across the alley on 106th Pl. While I didn’t know Linda, I remember her dad always tapped the maple tree out in front of their house to get syrup and we all thought that was so cool as kids. May Linda rest in peace and my condolences to her family.
