    Merry XMAS

    Merry Christmas

    From our home in the
    “Heart of the Rockies”

The magic of the 2012 Season never ends,
And its greatest of gifts are family and friends.

Blessings of the Christ Child to you and yours. Our family is going strong and growing! Kelly is now working for a Boulder-based travel agency, while Matt still leads the life of a pro-triathlete. Our three grandchildren continue to bring the greatest joy to our lives. Kingstonwill soon turn 2 on Jan 2; Peyton is now 4 and directs everyone just as her mom did; and Lachlan reached 7 and loves 2nd grade. Kurt accepted a new law enforcement position in July with U.S. Fish and Wildlife as a pilot and USF&W law enforcement officer in Kodiak,Alaska. He married his long time girlfriend, Sabrina, in Lake Tahoeover Labor Day weekend. She is working in San Francisco until an ultrasound stenographer position opens up in Kodiak. Our canine girls, Nina and Gracie, guarded the ranch while Jim and I took a long awaited Danube River cruise in April. We continue to enjoy retirement here at altitude, waking everyday to 360 degree views of 14,000 ft. peaks. Hiking has become our favorite activity and Jim recently climbed his first “fourteener”, Mt. Elbert, the highest peak inColorado and 2nd highest in the lower 48. He is also a member of the local Rotary Club. Barb assisted the summer garden program at the middle school which began growing food for the school cafeteria. During the year we enjoyed hosting friends from the Affordable Travel Club. We are blessed that the family will all gather here at the ranch for Christmas to ski, snowshoe, hike, snuggle and play!

Jim and I always enjoy hearing from all of you and would cherish your visit so we can share the magnificent beauty that is Colorado.

May you have the Peace, Joy and Love that is Christmas and may 2013 bring good health and happiness.
